So, your either bored and just reading this thread for the sake of it, or you are actually interested in joining an alliance. If you are the former you are welcome to keep reading, you might decide you want to join... you never know! If you are the later, well carry on...

ROCK is one of the longest standing alliances still playing Planetarion; we have a long history in PA and other similar browser-based games.
The long and the short of it; if you are interested in joining pop along to #ROCK on the Netgamers IRC network (this can be done via the com-unit ingame, however if you decide to join ROCK you will be required to use mIRC or a similar program to enable you to connect to our private server).

This round you may join with either a vouch from a current member or after an interview.
You will then be given a trial period in which to prove yourself, if at any point during that time we think you are not up to being part of ROCK or contradict the ROCK Spirit you shall be given a short period to improve else the decision to part ways maybe made

What we offer

- Large community-base - We play many games and have many old members who idle around our public channels

What we ask of you
- A moderate level of IRC and game activity - Our private room is not idlerpg!

- Attack and defence participation - We run at least one attack daily and expect you to try to take part in at least 4 a week (of course real life and game situations are taken into account). We also ask that you defend regularly, a good target would be one defence fleet a day. Defend and you shall receive defence whenever possible, don't defend and you won't; its that simple. If your not willing to help out we don't see why we should help you...

- A paid account. This may seem unfair towards free planets, however it's important that you can pull your own weight in the alliance and with the limits on free accounts that is nearly impossible.

- Website and forum activity - Announcements are nearly always made on our forums and the website, also it will allow you to chat to people from our time zones who may not be on IRC when you are.

- A willingness to learn and help out. New to the game? No problem, we're here to help. Similarly experienced players that are willing to help train newer players, analysis stats etc. are always welcome. Got tech skills? Always welcome!

- Honesty, fairness and fun
-- Honesty - play by the game rules (goes without saying really) spies are lame etc.
-- Fairness - Everyone is equal in ROCK when it comes ingame actions (defence etc.) this is not the place for big egos
-- Fun - Planetarion is after all only a game!
