After approximately 925629857028357 posts from the whaling Ultores sirens decrying the pathological irrationality of CT HC, who in an attempt to win the game keep hitting their strongest competitor, we have finally gotten the situation they coveted for so long; a 1 v 1 war, where no one could get in the way of Ultores' Promethean ability to use strategy, tactics, VNC, morality, and social skills to utterly smash the craven CT idiots who do not understand the birthright of Ultores players to win the game of planetarion.

A chance to hit CT "until they disbanded" no less...

Fast forward just shy of tick 400, and here we are. Ult getting outroided and watching their members quit.


An abundance of resources can long mask the poor decisions of those who possess them. Maybe, instead of trying to chalk up two rounds running that you've thrown in the bin out of petulance when people treat you as competitors rather than an arse to lick, you could just accept that until the game is completely dead, there is always going to be a bulwark of players who aren't just going to wittingly feed off the scraps you afford them.

Or something. I'm enjoying it personally. Sks in prod soon :3

You sure you're not moving the goal posts? You definitely didn't just intend to break us early in a war you thought you'd win handily within the first third, before moving on to being able to hold more than 400 roids for 12 hours? If your sole goal was to prevent us winning (and help FL win, as agares has said), would it not have been more prudent to have laid low, building value (split into two tags, perhaps), allowing a potentially strong CT to get pegged back by other competitors without yourselves getting roided dry, before heroically rewarding your beta warrior chums with a thank you win in the final stretch? Could you not have picked a more optimal ship strat if your only goal was to hurt us? Why did your members leave?

I’m sure pride and spite will see your planets continue logging in to send ever less impressive fleets but let’s not pretend you haven’t been roundly dicked on here.

The countless times ult posters have gloated and goaded over a scenario like the one playing out might not have afforded you the same chance to make an overreach for statesmanship in the way you just have Forest, but they certainly make an allegation of classlessness from someone whose post history largely reads as a billboard of past importance and current insider connections a bit unbalanced. #ctcrumbling

Not really, the aim (as you've said) is to make you not win. So we need to keep your value low enough so that regardless of political situation towards the end, there will be no path to victory for you. Only way to do that is to attack you all round. Eventually, BF, FL and maybe pingu (but you will probably keep them behind you since they arn't full tag) will outgrow you enought that you can't catch them.

You were always going to end up out-roiding us since you play for real. We 3 fleet attack. Nothing weird about that.

You are right, that we could have played normal and still dedicated the round to ****ing you up. But I don't think we could have motivated folks to DC and get up at nights to send def-fleets just to **** you up. To do that, folks would have wanted to win. Better to let us have a round off, PL on some CT target - go to bed and sleep the whole night and wake up the latest of the roid swapping breps :)

Oh dear, the level of stupidity here is unreal!

Oil, do you not realise it's a little retarded to create this thread, as a way of gloating that you are beating an Ultores who are not defending, we are literally just 3 fleet attacking you. Our rounds aim has never been about our own ranking, it's been about yours, and simply ensuring you are not a competitor. So far that is an absolute success. I mean seriously, look at the rankings, CT has nearly half the roid count of the actual #1 competition BF and FL, your value is inherently low as well. It would now take a decent amount of catching up to have a chance against FL and BF, but let's face it, CT are not going to be capable of that are they :)

GM - 3:9:7, aka Me, left Ultores indeed, but do not fret, i will continue to attack CT daily along with my other Ult pals. Figured i'd save Ult from seeing all the red lines associated with my planet on alliance def page, since i am never going to be asking for defence, nor do i or others wish/need to send any.

So if CT was going to win we know we would have to stop ults winning, so fighting ults would of been a given! Thankfully Ultores made the first move and attacked us when they did not have their usual value advantage.

Yes Ultores 3 fleeted and were doing well once defence started as well, we were getting bogged down in it. But once the defence crash happened on the defence leach agar3s, all defence effectively stopped and ultores without their king to save have been doing a downward spiral.

This was very clear in our incoming reports each day, ultores went from 3 fleeting and 80-90 incs a day on us to the latest of 43. Ultores is on a par with Norsemen on total roid count and the value gap growing each day.

Ultores has failed, no matter how you spin the story of your goal for this round. Zwanstic is now in p3nguins, eksero has deleted his planet, members are quitting tag..

If you want to troll someone, they have to believe they have failed... we have taken on the mighty ultores 1 on 1 and are laughing! maybe it is we who are trolling! :D

You even tried to get a CF when that bug killed our tag for a couple of hours a few days agoo.

you havent seen the logs from the cain discussion then, he was demanding we end the war and i pointed out that he needs to speak to agar3s. I guess you are missing quite a lot of the logs. but yes, enjoy your round. :D

What universe are you living in? Ult never defended this round. Agar3s and a couple of others dc themselves on occasion. That is the case both before and after that epic crash :)

Yeah, in this sentence your are definitely trolling indeed :). There's no way that you would consider this 1 v 1 to be against the 'Mighty Ultores'.

Our definitions of 'victory' are obviously different, but at least that way we both think ourselves as winners, so everyone wins right? :). Don't really want to argue any of that with you gm, you are one of the few HC that i actually respect, believe it or not.

We will all finish this round either by giving up/getting bored and stopping, or continuing to see the round through to the end, and the victorious can be decided by each of us, based on our own definition of victory and round objectives.

I for one have enjoyed this round so far, first time in ages!

I missed the first week or so due to being on holiday, and i don't really have the time to play this round either way. The short time i was in tag i hardly sent any fleets out. I had far less incs this round than I did last round, so any 'war' with ct or having incs had nothing to do with that, but if thinking that makes you feel better about yourselves, then by all means :p

As for zwan, no idea, wasn't around to see what happened!
