Totally OT, but could someone quickly explain to mean what "odds are 10/11 on something" means. Does that mean if I bet 10 quit on on this event and it actually happens, I'll get 11 back? And in case it doesn't, I'll get nothing back?
And 8/1means then what? Sorry, but I was never really sure...

i think its if you bet 11 quid you get your original stake back plus another 10 quid, so you get 21 quid total. 8/1 is bet 1 pound get that plus 8 pound back, so if you make that an 11 pound stake you get 99 pound back (your original 11 plus 88).

sadly this seems to mean they think jordan is guaranteed, near enough, to win, as those are pretty sure odds where they wont pay you a lot more than your original stake

10/11 is what is known as "odds on", and it means that you'd have to bet £11 to get £10 back. (Plus your stake = £21)

8/1 means that for every £1 you bet, you get £8 back. So if you bet £10 on a horse at odds of 8/1, then you'd come out with £90 (£80 profit plus your stake).

I'd take those odd myself. 10/11 aren't really that bad odds, you are effectively doubling your money. I wouldn't be suprised if if she goes to even shorter money later in the day.

Just checking on ladbrokes.com now, and gina g has gone out to 12/1, and scott-lee is second favourite at 5/2 stll and the other two are both 5/1.

That is pretty good, you'd be over doubling your money (e.g. £10 stake returns £25 @ 6/4) Doubling your money and more in a one horse race is not to be sniffed at. And as Kura says, we can put our faith in the great British public to do it's duty and vote that skanky whore the winner.

You can get 33/1 on Jordan winning it, and 4/1 on her withdrawing because of her pregnancy.
