Upgrade or Change Forums

vBulletin 3.x is end-of-life as of 2017, and is a usability headache. :(

Are there any plans to upgrade, or move forums to something more modern like Discourse?

I agree it is EoL - the problem is that upgrading is not straight forward and requires a fair cost to do so - they've changed all their payment plans, etc.

For the record, the last while (week? month?), I've noticed the forums are significantly snappier than before. If you guys did something, good job. If not, take the credit anyway.
