What is everyone doing tonight?
 

well, its new years eve, the biggest 'party night' of the year, apparently.

so... what is everyone doing? im torn between going to a party with some 35 year old friend of mine in brighton where I probably only know 2 people but should be a 'laugh' and cheap (for me at least). Or going to a party with my brother with all his 18-19 year old friends, some of whom are fit, but most of whom are Xians... also not likely to be many drugs there.

The other option is to buck the trend and just stay in all night getting very drunk and posting on the internet...

anyway, what is everyone else doing on this wonderful night of overindulgence?

Flat party round mine starting in a couple hours' time, then on to the Hogmanay street party for fireworks and Blondie, then back to someone else's flat party to end the night. Then tomorrow morning we're all walking up Arthur's Seat for no valid reason, probably in a state of hung-over, plague-ridden tiredness. If all goes to plan it'll be the best New Year I've had, though frankly anything can top last year's 'getting locked out the house with a bunch of stoned students'.

Probably nothing. Maybe a pub, but I don't think I can be bothered as it will be busy and noisy and full of people who only get drunk once a year and think they want to fight with everyone.

I'm going to a house party. One of the girls throwing it I really really like :) But she has a boyfriend :( but he's in New Zealand :) but she's already told me she's going to behave herself til he gets back :( but she'll be getting drunk tonight :) but her friends will look after her :( but I'm friends with her friends and they know I like her and don't mind :) but her sister will be there :( but I have a girlfriend anyway who may or may not be coming to the party at a later point this evening :confused:

Working until 10pm and then god knows. I have money to buy booze and I have a very small quantity of drugs so I'll be damned if I don't have some kind of fun. There's about 2 or 3 clubs having some kind of NYE event so maybe that, or a house party. Or failing that sitting in the park by myself like a loser.

In the end, I drank 'Special Guinness' (pint of guinness with a double rum in it; despite its comparatively low alcoholic content, it gets you sloshed surprisingly quicky)

I went to my Mothers house and then my brothers house. I then fell out with my mother and went to visit a friend from work. Then I came home. All very dull :(

Today I get birthday cake and the chance to play with remote control cars \o/

I had loads of fun, suprisingly. I hate newyears and all other big celebration days, beacause of all the idiots.
I went to a house party, then out, and to another house party, and at last i ended up in a strange place with strange people and strange drinks. Loads of fun!

well, i went round a friends house and we smoked weed and drank till 2am, then i realised id had too much and couldnt talk/move. Took a couple of pills and in another couple of hours was 'up' and moving about... then had some coke, then some more pills. A great night all things considered.

I had a good night and managed to avoid taking any of the pills I had on me which I considered a small personal victory. And the tube was running all night so I got home without recourse to night buses.
