Introduction to GD

Ive only started reading gd as my interest in PA declines ( a requirement for gd posting it seems ) so would like some advice in posting here which will result in me not getting flamed more than a creme brulee in hell , like sethmace did recently.

Heres what ive come to the conclusion GD is about and how the system works

#1 someone finds the wackiest stories in the news today and posts links

#2 rest of the group try to each make up their smartest and sarcastic remarks, in which they hope to impress their fellow peers and at the same time give themselves a feeling of 1upmanship *

#3 newcomers who think of trying to break the cycle with a post of their own are jumped on like a wilderbeast thrown to the lions untill they exit stage left (see thread in which Sethmace got owned)

#4 the whole sytem is bummed by giving each other reps for anything

#5 the day ends and still people are posting, regarless of the fact that everytime they post here, its like smoking a cigarette and stealing 5 mins of your life.

* this stage does not take long as people are usually refreshing at up to 3 times a minute at all times of day

SO CAN I JOIN ? Banana removed by Moderators after complaints it was offensive to people with Jaundice

Re: Introduction to GD

I've never pressed the refresh button on GD.

Unlike Stew, who admitted to pressing it repeatedly when bored.

If you don't want to be flamed, it isn't difficult. Simply:

- Don't try and be a clever dick. If you know something, sure, talk about it. If you want to correct someone, don't do it unless you actually care AND are positive they're wrong.

- Feel free to be a little bit cheeky to people, but don't be too rude. GD has a high tolerance level for a lot of things, which is one of the reasons why a lot of people like chatting here.

- This thread is fresh and kind of amusing. I'm sure you'll settle in fine.

No, I quitted her the second last day of our trip to Egypt because the age difference became an annoyance.

We had a great time together though, but it wasn't ment to last forever.

Re: Introduction to GD

It's orgasm, not cum.

If you're going to use the age card earlier in the thread to back up poor reasons for breaking up, at least use language suited to your age. You're not drinking White Lightning now you know.

SilverSmoke 6 Jun 2005 19:03

Re: Introduction to GD

Oh sorry Mr internet policeofficer, sorry for not feeling the exact difference between typing orgasm or cum as a non english based poster of GD.

In Dutch using the verb to come has the same weight as to get an orgasm.

skiddy 6 Jun 2005 19:06

Re: Introduction to GD

Clause 11 : Language

Unfortunatly we are unable to provide a discussion board which is truly multi-lingual. Due to the number of different languages being used in this truly internetional community we have been forced to have an English only rule. This is to stop the breaking of clauses 1-9 from taking place if written in a language the moderating team cannot understand.

So it's orgasm. Not cum.

Try to have some self respect.

You just smeared some margarine on a piece of bread, and tipped a packet on peanuts on it didn't you?
